Just wanted to say THANK YOU for the gentlemen at JIFFY LUBE in Loganville that helped us with our truck that broke down in the middle of 78 today! They all went over and beyond the call of duty to find the parts we needed to fix what was broken. Thanks also to hooksonme for the lift home, all were angels!!!

BB&T Bank are a bunch of Scam Artists! They have apparently changed their practices on Deposits to where they do not post them for several days. They no longer count Monday as a business day. If you make a deposit on Friday, it will not post until Tuesday, but any charges are taken out when made resulting in NSF charges. They did this to me and took over $300 in NSF charges. Some days they post sooner than others to result in maximum fees. Do not bank with these crooks! I am canceling my...

Joe Shmoes' in Monroe has the best pizza in Walton County. They have the freshest topping and cheese we've had on a pizza in many years.
They're in the old Foxs pizza location. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed.

Debbie's Deli & Cafe in Covington. This place was recommended to me several months ago.

The guy that recommended it did not give good directions; I thought it was located around the old courthouse square. Turns out to be a couple of blocks away. What's worse is it is adjacent to a gas station. Not at all what I expected. Almost drove away. Glad we stayed; the food is fantastic.

Attorney recommendation

Does anyone have a recommendation for a local attorney to assist with preparing a Will and doing estate planning? I have used Stanford Cox in Monroe for other things - divorce and later, adoption - and he did a good job.

But, I wanted to check in here to see if anyone has a better recommendation for someone with a lot of experience in this area.

Stopped by Rochelle's Hair Salon (corner of GA 20 and Sharon Church Road) and hit 'em up for my $10 hair cut.

She did a great job and I enjoyed gabbing for over an hour! Give them a try for a very reasonably priced hair cut and great service.

Had lunch there with a friend today. Penny of Shanghai Garden and Christine of Suki have joined together to offer an incredible array of Asian food for the area. The food was wonderful and service was impeccable. Christine of Suki was able to have her sushi chef replicate the famous Tommy Midori "Loganville Roll" for us too. Very tasty!!

They offer lunch specials starting at $6.95 which include entree, soup and fried rice. Can't beat the price to get a tasty meal...

Anyone know a reputable company or individual that sells firewood? I picked up a $10.00 stack at a local loganville vegetable stand and the fella assured me it wasn't green and when I got home and attempted to enjoy a toasty fire in fireplace, this stuff would'nt even catch with 2 dura-flame logs. Flush the 10 clams down the toilet.

Yes, we need our roof replaced. Have read the posts about David Miller, Paulk, Aboveboard, Roofing Plus, etc. Which of these are insured??? Have not talked with my neighbor, who used Adair. The roof looks great. Saw them there when I left that morning around 7:30 and were definitely gone when I returned around 5:30.

ssgduff talked to the owner today. It seems there was a lease issue that has been resolved. They should be back up and running this weekend. Whew! It's supposed to be awful weather this week, so we will take the kids.

Looking for a local courier (Loganville pickup, Grayson delivery).

Bad divorce situation. Need a courier that will itemize the contents, deliver them, and have him sign (the courier's form) receipt. The ex continually says he is not receiving stuff and I have resorted to this to make him accountable and stop the non-sense.

Anyone?

Gotta give 'em a shout out again. Their menu is out of control!
Today I had their Chicken Cordon Bleu Panini. Holy Yum! Super delish.
I was really delicious and I highly recommend it.
