There is a HUGE difference in being an AP coming out of the real world of business management and being the principal of arguably the toughest school in Walton County. Being a principal requires much more than the resume this gentleman holds. The ONLY reason, and I REPEAT the only reason this gentleman received the nod and the go ahead IS because he worked at Loganville High School. Look at the man's (Homer "G" Hobbs') track record, and I use the word MAN loosely.
Bridget Lynch - Principal after THREE years of AP experience AT LOGANVILLE HIGH SCHOOL NO PRIOR admin history . Look what happened to her, poor woman (and I use poor woman sarcastically)went down for fraud and tried to blame it on a 14 year Walton County veteran and 7 year AP.
Brian Now this gentleman, and nothing against him, as I do not know him - three years in the classroom, three years AP- NOT QUALIFIED
Nathan Franklin - Principal Loganville High School - 3 year AP from where, YOU GUESSED it, Loganville High School, teacher and football coach prior to receiving this honor. (and I use honor, sarcastically)
David Todd- replaced the ever so ethical, (again sarcasm) Bridget Lynch. 4 years AP experience at Carver Middle School.
The list can continue, but I need to get to work this morning.
You can not ARGUE with facts.
This man is BIASED and is doing Walton County a GRAVE injustice, as he runs the good ones out of the county that can do the job for the county.
The worst thing is the Board members, some of who are career politicians at the board office, Mr. Landers et al. are ALLOWING him to do this.
Here is a summary,in a nutshell, if you are LOYAL to Hobbs and are seen as a "yes" man, then you get the nod. It has nothing to with ability, career success or educational experience (as most of these individuals hold only a masters degree)
Just sayin' (and yes, that is, again, sarcasm)
