I wouldn't read too much into any poll right now. Asking who you think will win is like asking who you think will win a football game...too much speculation. It does, however show a lack of confidence on the part of those polled that Obama would be defeated, again though, that doesn't exactly mean anything...to a point, this time four years ago, the overwhelming favorite to win the 2008 election was Hillary Clinton.

Head to head polling by FOX shows a 46% margin for Obama and a 42% margin for Gingrich or Romney. GOP and/or Conservative and Independent voters are having to chose between many (perhaps too many) choices right now so actually, the GOP looks pretty good at this point....Obama/Democrat/Liberal voters only have to consider one option (unless of course they continue to talk about Hillary running in place of Obama...which doesn't exactly show a great deal of confidence on their part for Obama).

We shall see what we shall see. Personally, I'm not truly thrilled with any of the candidates...there is no Ronald Reagan like candidate running for the GOP and none likely to pop up either. There are some that could have run, but didn't (like Rubio). I wish we could roll all the current GOP candidates into one really complete one that everyone could support....perhaps as the election nears, and people begin to realize the consequences of an Obama reelection, they will have to make that all too common decision these days, to vote for the lesser of evils...and hope to fight for the really right candidate at another time.
