Gel, you're so right! I'm afraid that Explorer doesn't have a tremendous amount of faith in his recovery if he can't trust himself to dine in a restaurant that serves alcohol. I've known many recovering alcoholics, I'm even related to a couple but they still are able to enjoy a good meal in a quality restaurant in the company of people who indulge. The seafood analogy is a very good one. I'm highly allergic to seafood and at one of our dinners, while sharing each others' meals, someone placed some crabcake on my plate. Before I even caught it myself the person sitting next to me reacted immediately and removed it from my plate. None of us would ever let another come to harm or fall off the wagon at one of our events. Yes, we do care!

"A happy woman is one who has no cares at all; a cheerful woman is one who has cares but doesn't let them get her down."
