Explorer- I am sorry you feel left out. Perhaps you should read more than the Religious thread so you could stay informed of the happenings in the "Ville. I rarely post on Religious.
I don't choose our venues based on the bar's reputation, just on the restaurant's. Our club is not called DRINKS Club, now is it? I have been to every event I have organized (amazing but true!) and I have yet to have an alcoholic beverage. I am not a recovering anything, but just prefer tea or water with my meals. I am not the only one. We will NEVER dine where you are accustomed to, that is the point of the club! I strive to provide a unique, or different, or fun experience, but Chucky Cheez, McDonald's, Medieval Times(they serve alcohol!), and Cracker Barrel will NEVER be our venue.
So, if you are willing to share what's on your plate (doesn't really matter if you aren't willing, though, your food will be shared), lose your reservations of what is "right and wrong", go out on a limb to have some fun or at least something different, you are always welcomed to attend the events. Just leave the kids and attitude at home.
