Make sure you visit www.terroronsouthernhills.com Halloween night for a great haunted house experience. Price is $3.00. We even change it up so that little
ones can go through. Visit our site for more info. We are also looking for food vendors to sell food and drinks to the crowd waiting in line. Last year was
huge this year we've added rooms and this will be the only haunted house with snow in one of the rooms. Call if you have any questions 678-249-8347.

Not to be a party pooper but.... | ||

why would you want your "little ones" to go through a haunted house anyway? I can't see blood, guts, ghosts, scary and demented faces be fun
for a child to have to vision in their heads over and over again when they fall asleep. I think it shouldn't be allowed. It's mean to allow a child
to have to see such bad stuff, in the name of "fun".

Actually my family started doing this haunted yrad for the trick or treaters back when I was 8 and my little sister was only 4. We loved it! I took it over
about 8 years ago and we have people who come every year with their little kids. Most parents know whether or not their child can handle it. I have this one
couple they brought their 18 month old 2 years ago and every year she has been back. The parents told me they practice scaring their little girl to prepare her
for Halloween. It is all in fun and whether you think so or now kids love it! My 4 year old nephew is all excited and my 5 year old niece will be in the
haunted house this year. I made a room especially for her because she has been tlaking about since last year. Wew do nothing violent in front of the little
kids....most of the time the monsters don't even stay in the rooms for the kids. The kids are just curious and want to see what it looks like inside.
I just hate that many people try to take the fun out of Halloween and they turn off their porch lights, don't hand out candy, or they do trunk or treating and to me that would be very boring thinking back to when I was a kid. I loved Halloween and trunk or treating would not have done anything for me back when I was younger. We give out candy and even death certificates with their names on them. It is all in fun and most people love it! Anyway I just wanted to let other people know about it and we look forward to seeing some new faces this year. |

Holloween used to be so much fun. Now, I hate to say it, but some churches, have taken over the role of neighborhoods and for me....ruined the experience. We
buy tons of candy but no one ever comes. So we just gave up and go to the movies and just leave some candy on the front porch. Tons of fun for everyone, right?

I know what you mean. That is why it's so important for us to do this each year for the kids, teens and even the adults! It's good for folks to get a
good scare and have some laughs at others getting scared. We have an absolute blast doing this every year. LONGDRIVE you should make it out here on Halloween
we always have a crowd outside watching and listening to the screams and laughs. There is no need for you to be bored on a Halloween night. We are still
looking for extra actors/actresses as well. If you know where the Monroe Hospital is we are located right off Alcovy Street down from the Hospital. Hope to see
you there. My name is Laura Wright by the way.

If you aren't planning on freaking your kids out this year, we are having trunk or treat at our Church. So many kids and adults have loved it, for many years now. No nightmares for kids either. As a matter of fact my avatar is of the bride and I last year. She was Elvis and I was Cher If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. sounds like the stuff nightmares are made of to me..

Thank you Explorer. Those are the memories I want my children to have. Not of ghosts, goblins and like I said, demented faces and scary things.

sssshhhh 14jesus, you might be deemed as a judgmental, holier than thou Bible thumper.

I'm not ashamed of the Gospel. I don't thump the Bible, I read and study it. I'm not Holier than thou, that's God's position
I expect for people to say what you wrote. I'm not judgemental. It's a fact and has been proven that when children are exposed to bad things, then they react. they have bad dreams and are scared. Like I said, I don't want to be a party pooper, but why subject your child to things that aren't good if you are able to? Life is not a bowl of cherries and all perfect and good, but every moment I have to keep the bad away for my children, I do. that's all. |

My niece and nephew have never been scared or had nightmares from our Halloween. my mom was even laughing at the comments on here. We had this one little two
year old girl walk through last year laughing from jumping at things moving in the haunt. She went back through again after begging her mom to go through it
again.

Just glad your mom was amused by comments. Laughter is healthy. Thanks for the open invitation but no thanks.

Well, I said my peace.
Not meant to make anyone upset which I see hasen't yet. Our thought processes are just different Stormy19782005. When you becme a Christian your mind is transformed to think the way Jesus thought. Not perfectly, of course. But your mind does register good from evil. I try to do a lot of other things to make my family laugh. If evil and scary make people laugh, then they should re-think their thoughts and actions in their everyday lives. I live for the long-term and end result. I want God to be pleased with the decisions I made while I was alive. That's all. There's a verse in the Bible that applies to this thread: God says in Phillippians 4:8 "Whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, thing on these things." That is what I try to do on a daily basis. |

I think everybody needs to just do what they do and leave each other alone. All she was doing was making a post to let people know, that if you and your
family enjoy a haunted house, she has one to offer. She never said you should leave your church function and come. But as always, people make post on here
and someone else comes on and tears it apart and puts it down. If your family likes to do trunks for treats, then do that and quit getting your feathers so
ruffled because someone offers up a haunted house. I think both ideas are really fun and have done both. I assure you, that no body is worshiping satan on
either end. Her house sounds like innocent fun. Thanks for the post and willingness to let others know who enjoy that type of thing.

Wow... I can't believe someone who does not know me would judge me. I've never read In the Bible once that it's bad to put on a haunted house.
Just wow. I have had some folks even help me pick up large items from thrift stores that go to Christian churches. The money spent on majority of the haunted
house goes to the local FISH thrift stores and everyone there loved my ideas. The first haunted house I ever went to was put on by a church. That's okay
because I know what kind of person I am, I'm the most generous person and I have a good heart. I'm not a fake like most church goers. I'm use to
hearing at least one negative comment each year, which of course makes me want to just keeping adding to my haunted house every year. I actually love it when I
have that one person every year talk down my event it gives me more traffic to my website and to my haunt every year. Jesus14 you have helped spread the word
about my haunt on this post. You stirred up a great conversation on here and more people keep reading it. So I thank you for your comments and for keeping this
post going strong. I've had tons of phone calls from this one post alone. Thank you so very much and I hope you have a very Happy Halloween.

stormy not trying to antagonize but what does the act of you and your family attending Sunrise Baptist Church and the act of your niece and nephew attending
Corinth Baptist Church have to do with Philippians 1:27 (NIV) and 4:8
What did you mean by this statement? I'm not a fake like most church goers and may I asked what it is based on? We can't allow our own convictions about a holiday to cause division in the Body of Christ If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be.
