Gary Hobbs has tabbed Bryan Hicks as the new principal at MAHS. Hicks astounding resume: After serving in retail, recieved his Masters of Education late in life. Served three years as a teacher at LHS. Then served three years as an assistant principal at LHS.
Yep thats it! Six total years in the education field. Is this all the qualifications needed to run a very difficult school. Not to judge the man personally but professionally, how in the world is this man remotely qualified to run arguably the most difficult high school in the county. Oh yeah he served with Gary Hobbs! Seriously what qualifications are they looking for? Did they even take resumes? Who did they interview? The best canidate they had has a whopping 6 years in the education field, and no experience outside of LHS!
Hobbs, you are doing a grave disservice to the staff, faculty, and students of MAHS. After the whole YMS, and now this, it is clear where Gary Hobbs priorities lie. Only in bettering the careers of his friends, not the schools nor the students of Walton County.
